GPSim bv is a subsidiary of Vesc bv., a Dutch company operational for over 10 years as an innovative software-, computer hardware and electronics developer.

The trademark GP Sim has been established in 2005, the first full size simulator has been delivered and installed in 2006.

 Quality of Servicing

While GPSim is servicing  simulators around the world. The company has started the process of ISO certification with repsect to this work speciically  ISO 9000. The certificate is scheduled for 2012 / 2013.

GPSim has direct working relations with the University of Twente and the University of Groningen.

GPSim is member of: the Exporters Club Drenthe,  the Microsoft Delvelopers Network and is since 2010 full membder of IAAPA and since 2011 full menber of the foundation The Netherlands Industry for Defence & Security.

GPSim is supported with respect to technological innovations and exporting possibilities by Syntens, NOM and  SNN Groningen.

 Job opportunities

Computer graphics have evolved enormously over the last decade. While the current 3D simulation engine has a high level of quality, we are looking for a software engineer capable of bringing the visualisation technology to the highest/ latest standards. Main focus shall be on developing and deploying pixel and vertex shaders in OpenGL and D3D. Internship cognitive psychologist

The main topic of the internship will be an emperical study to the effectiveness of GPSim's training simulators (GP-FT and CT-Sim). Your job will be running the training programs with subjects from the field (race drivers, police and ambulance drivers) while collecting data (response times, cognitve load, vehicle control data etc.). The study is to be concluded with a statistical analysis and recommendations for further development of the curriculi and educational methods.
