Civil Technical Simulator CT-Sim

Based on several years of academic research at the Traffic Research Centre of the University of Groningen a training simulator has been developed and currently in production and testing phase.

CT-Sim is dedicated at training of police, medical emergency and firetruck drivers. Highly accurate carmodels of the specific vehicles and the detailed modelling of highway, rural, suburban and urban traffic environments offer an un unprecendented training context.

The technical setup of the CT Simulator includes a 24" 6DoF motion system, fully equiped mockup of specific cars (police, ambulance etc.) with all controls in place and operational. For detailed aspects of functionality please read here: Emergency Driver Training.
